Jae was called to the Bar in 2012, after completing his Law degree at the University of Western Ontario in 2011. He also received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Toronto in 2005.
Jae articled at Krylov Lam & Company and joined as an associate in 2011. He has experience in a variety of litigation areas and has appeared as counsel before both judge and masters in the Ontario Court of Justice and Ontario Superior Court of Justice. Jae has also frequently attended as counsel at the Financial Services Commission of Ontario as well as several other Boards and Tribunals.
Jae’s current practice focuses on personal injury claims. He has broad experience in claims arising from car accidents including no-fault accident benefits claims, as well as slip and falls, assaults, occupiers’ liability, dog bites, sports injuries, and health and disability claims. In addition, Jae practices quasi-criminal law, defending individuals charged with offences under The Highway Traffic Act.
In addition to his legal practice, Jae enjoys teaching and has been a part-time professor at Seneca College in the School of Legal and Public Administration since 2012 teaching law clerk and paralegal courses. Jae is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association and the Korean Canadian Lawyers Association.
